Another story has officially been sent out into the world.
Tonight I submitted my short story, “To Quell the Quiet,” to the May 2026 “History Repeating” challenge hosted by Glossy Planet Magazine.
The contest centers around cycles of conflict, repetition, memory, and the patterns humanity keeps finding itself trapped within.
This particular piece leans into speculative fiction and psychological suspense, exploring narrative, distraction, repetition, and the quiet horror of watching the same stories repeat themselves over and over again.
No matter what happens with the contest itself, I’m proud of this one.
Sometimes the biggest victory is finishing the story, refining it, and having the courage to let it go.
Now… back to writing the next contest entry before the deadline catches me.
