This weekend I’ll be showing a piece titled “Shadow Lullaby” at the Dungeons & Dragons Art Show—a free, all-ages celebration of creativity, storytelling, and the worlds inspired by D&D.
This piece connects to a story I’ve been working on, and it’s always interesting to see how visual art and written storytelling start to weave together.

📍 The Fremont
1030 E 9th St
Des Moines, IA
🎲 First 50 guests receive Dragon Dice!
If you’re in the area, come by, explore the exhibit, and see what everyone’s been creating. There’s going to be a lot of imagination in one room.
✨ For those who enjoy the story side of things, I’ll be sharing a reading on my youtube channel that pairs with this piece as well.

Work in progress shot for Shadow Lullaby, and teaser for the story:
Shadow Lullaby:
A mage marked as a monster stands guard at the threshold of his hidden sanctuary, where stolen children are not devoured—but saved. Those who come to kill him soon discover the truth: some monsters are the only thing standing between innocence and a far crueler world.
