I'm excited to share that my latest story, See You Tomorrow, has been submitted to Inkitt's Second Chance Romance Contest.
At first glance, it may sound like a romance. In reality, it's also a science fiction adventure, a mystery, and a race against time.
Chrissy Jaxs is a treasure hunter searching for the Zarus—an ancient artifact rumored to possess the power of time travel. When her lover and teammate murders her to claim the artifact for himself, Chrissy discovers she was smarter than anyone realized. Keeping the real artifact hidden on her person sends her two days into the past, giving her a second chance to change everything.
With her team still alive and danger closing in, Chrissy turns to the only person she trusts: an old friend who left the expedition seven years ago and has secretly loved her ever since.
Now Chrissy must navigate rival factions, hidden agendas, betrayal, and a ticking clock to prevent a future she has already lived through.
See You Tomorrow is currently under review as part of Inkitt's Second Chance Romance Contest. I'm excited to see where the story's journey leads next and look forward to sharing more updates in the future.
